Tv Shows with the Husband, Finding my purpose, Potato Chips are supreme
Lesson 1: Watch a TV show with your spouse
My husband isn’t a huge movie person but I convinced him to start a series with me and we’re obsessed. A new episode comes out every week and has turned into a fun date night tradition for us. We look forward to it each week! (Also, don’t tell him I told you this but HE’S SO INVESTED. It makes me giggle.)
Lesson 2: I have a purpose even if I don’t know what it is yet
I’m not sure if this counts as a lesson if I’m still trying to comprehend the concept but we’re putting it down as one. I’ve felt as if I’ve been floating the past few weeks without a destination or purpose in mind. It’s a rather uncomfortable feeling. However, I’ve been reminded this week that I have purpose even if it’s not clearly visible. I also believe that our purpose ebbs and flows, as we move from chapter to chapter.
Lesson 3: I am a potato chip addict
I used to never eat potato chips because I thought eating them was as good as signing my death warrant. Well, I definitely got over that mindset and apparently my taste buds are trying to make up for lost time. And they’re doing quite well at it…I’ve been craving them like none other and when we finally have them in the house, they don’t last long. In my head it’s a, once it’s open it’s gone within the day, policy when it comes to chips. Potato chip addict indeed.
Gratitude:
Barre: I started attending a local barre class and it’s been so delightful. It challenges me and brings a fun,new element to my fitness routine. I would highly recommend.
Potato chips…..I had too. They’ve brought me much joy the past few weeks. The wavy variety to be specific.
Home and Consistency: Whenever I return from a trip, or am preparing for one, I grow a new appreciation for the simple routine of my life. New and different is exciting, but home for me is comforting and calming.

When faced with giving up or working harder, work harder.
